Sufficient Grace Certified Bereavement Doula
I have always felt a strong calling to care for those around me, and had no doubt that I would end up in healthcare in some capacity. As my friends and I became new mothers, listening to their experiences was like finding the last piece of a puzzle. There was no doubt in my mind that I was meant to serve families as they prepared to welcome their newest members.
I trained with toLabor as a birth doula in the spring of 2015, Sufficient Grace Ministries in fall of 2016, and met the requirements to become a Sufficient Grace Certified birth & bereavement doula in early 2017. I am currently working on a childbirth educator certification from Birth Arts International. Because I’m always looking to learn more, I also went to nursing school and will have completed that in February of 2018. From there, I hope to enter a midwifery program and work with other professionals in the Omaha area to bring the best birth options possible to the families in our community.
As a doula I believe wholeheartedly in a family’s right to choose the birth options they feel fit their needs best. My goal is to provide the education needed to make your plan, and the support to help you achieve it. To be included in this incredible journey is an honor, and I am truly thankful for each family that has allowed me to join them.
Because not all families desire the exact same support throughout their pregnancies, I offer several different services and packages. Please feel free to contact me for a no-obligation consultation, or even just to grab a cup of coffee and bounce some ideas back and forth!
